* "Cirque du Freak" gets a new release date, new title | The Times-Picayune
- The movie adaptation of "Cirque du Freak" now has a new name and release date. Now entitled, "The Vampire's Assistant", it is set for release on Oct. 23, 2009.

* Wizards vs. Vampires
- I introduced my daughter to Twilight a while back. (She's reading Eclipse right now.) She torments me in kind with Hannah Montana. All's fair, right? Last weekend she pointed out that another of her favorite shows, The Wizards of Waverly Place, will be invaded by vampires starting July 24th. OK, I'll bite, this actually looks like fun.
